Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering into a contract with Rockies Maps.
By engaging in any business arrangement with Rockies Maps, you agree to be bound by the following terms:

1.1 The terms of payment are as follows (unless otherwise agreed upon and expressed in writing).
Full payment is due when either:
(a) proof is approved by the Client,
(b) the ad is submitted by the Client, or
(c) 1 month before distribution, whichever is earlier.

1.2 All Client agreements with Rockies Maps last for 2 issues (unless otherwise specified in writing).
1.3 At the conclusion of each contract period, all agreements renew themselves automatically until cancelled by the Client.

2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing and received by March 1st.

3.1 For the ads that Rockies Maps designs, the Client will obtain proof of their advertisement prior to printing seeking final approval by the Client.
3.2 Additional modifications and proofs may incur additional fees.

4.1 The Client agrees that they are the sole owner of any artwork or photo and they have the rights to use it as part of their ad and for printing.
4.2 The Client acknowledges that their artwork does not infringe on someone else's copyright and/or trademark.
4.3 The Client will be responsible for any legal action that may result from infringement.

5.1 Rockies Maps’ liability is limited to the price paid or payable by the Client for the advertisement in one issue if an error or omission in the advertisement results from Rockies Maps' error.
5.2 Rockies Maps’ obligation to make good on mistakes or omissions is only valid for the time that the printed stock is available.

6.1 Non-expiring gift vouchers will be used to settle all credits.

7.1 We strive to ensure distribution according to the Rockies Maps’ plan, but 100% distribution accuracy is not guaranteed.
7.2 No refunds will be issued in the event of a publication date delay. Instead, the Client will get longer advertising time.

8.1 On occasion, Rockies Maps may post pictures of maps to our website and social media accounts.
8.2 We may also tag the Client’s business and/or give a brief description of the services offered by the Client to help with cross-promotion.
8.3 If a Client does NOT wish for us to cross-promote their business, they can contact us, and we will respect their privacy.

9.1 All matters regarding the interpretation, validity, and effect of the contract shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Alberta.
